A Day in Porsche Ownership

Today was a Saturday involved with Porsches from start to finish and I learned so much from so many different perspectives and from some very knowledgeable Pelicans.

The beginning of my day started with a PCA breakfast that I arrived very late hoping to catch a caravan of cars over to a tech session at Stuttgart Performance. I get to the restaurant and I meet one new person with a late Carrera (86-89) Guards Red whom I follow over to the tech session. I spent several hours with many beautiful cars and talked to B D from here as well as Zeke for quite awhile. Stuttgart Performance has an incredible setup shop and very nice. I was able to see how some of the cars are setup for racing and see some other beautiful Porsches, Ferraris and a classic Mercedes. I wish I had taken more pictures but here are a few to document my day.

This was not the end of the day. I left Stuttgart Performance about 1pm and cruised down the 405 to 450knotoffice's house to see how the suspension upgrade was going. Absolutely amazing. Thanks to 450knotoffice, I have a faith that I might be able to actually work on my car and become a DIY guy although I promise to be cautious and consult Pelican for any and all questions. 450knotoffice showed me how to change the brake pads on a 911 and how to bleed the brake lines as well taught volumes of knowledge about suspension.

Nice pics, Chris. Thanks for the kind words. I had fun today (Saturday). I finally updated my ongoing string about the work today.

Take care.
