Sweet WRC video!!

Well, to keep this somewhat on topic...

Unfortunately you won't see this

or this

or this

in this video, but if you are even slightly into WRC or motorsports in general you should watch these two videos. They are around 20-30 MB, so dialup guys beware. They are clips from the 2001 and 2003 WRC season editted and put to music. The 2001 video is set to "In the End" by Linkin Park and the 2003 video is set to some cool, driving techno type stuff. The 2002 video is good to, but I guess for bandwidth purposes he doesn't host that one any more.

Scroll all the way to the bottom, they are titled WRC2001 and WRC 2003

PS, I have the 2002 video if someone wants to host it.

Well alright, I'm impressed. I particularly enjoyed the '03 one -- there's a sequence where a series of different cars are just barely hanging on to incredible corners, one after another. Then some poor bastard in a little red Civic hatchback totally screws up a corner and throws his car off the edge of the road, over a cliff, and into some trees. Golly gee whiz, that's sad...

I like the videos but the "music" drives me crazy, guess it's just not my cup of meat...

I thought it was pretty good editting the way he got some of the jumps and crashes sync'ed with the music. I'm betting that takes a little time and planning.

FWIW, racingflix.com has a few more rally movies. You have to wade through the ricers and the "supercars," but there seems to be some decent stuff there. Oh, and the server will only give you two files at a time, at a whopping 3K/sec, so don't plan on watching anything realtime, as a normal sized download will take 3-4hrs.
