Is this a good deal??????
This car was recently on Ebay and did not meet reserve. Seller is wanting $13,500 for it....Miles seem right and car looks good. If it passes a PPI, is it a good deal???? Vehicle Description Porsche 911, Targa Model without turbo charging. Original red paint with black leather seats. 70,487 actual miles. Production date 09-84. We are auctioning this car for a friend. It is very well maintained and rarely driven; 3,000 miles over the past 4 years. Vehicle Condition Always a southwest car, garage kept. The newer parts include tires (Bridgestone Potenza RE940), battery with cut-off, passenger door glass, clutch and cable (1,000 miles), soft top section. Original tool kit, owners handbook, and bra included. Engine and transmission are clean and dry, thoroughly rust free. Paint has chipping on nose and door edges, some other random chips from stones. Windshield is free from cracks and stars, but is sand blasted from desert life, noticeable in certain light. Body is very straight and has not been wrecked. Interior, dash, door panels are very good. Front seats have good stitching and foam, some rub-through (to leather) from use. Very good rubber throughout. Some other points: AC is currently not functioning, drivers door window switch for passenger window just stopped functioning. Power seats work, rear defroster was never used, CD player is Alpine CDM-7833. Car equipped with catalytic convertor, passes local emissions with ease. The car needs some tinkering and touching up. Can be driven anywhere!. Have tried to supply all the important information but please ask any questions prior to bidding! More photos available upon request. Thanks for any input...!!! EDB |
