synthetic or mineral oil????Help!!!!!

I have been debating whether or not to use synthetic oil in my car. I am sure someone has some more insight in this board then I. I have a 1970 911T all stock, original engine, never rebuilt, but runs strong.
What should I use....I've been using mineral since the car has only used mineral oil it's entire life. I am hoping that synthetic may increase the life of the engine.....etc.

Please Help....Thanks in advance...Chris..

I would continue using the petroleum based oil. How many miles on your car? Any oil leaks-if so they MAY get worse with the synthetic.
Just my opinion.

Mineral oils today are much better than 30 years ago. I would stick with the dino stuff and keep up the oil & filter changes at around 4K miles.
