Gone for now!

Well, despite my hopes and prayers my p-car definately had two bad valves in it. Both the #2 and #5 plug looked like the Alaskan coastline after the Exxon catastrophe. This was the straw the broke my back with this car. My wrench, whom I and others on this BB trust, informed me that I was looking at a 4k issue, at least. I called another wrench just to get a second opinion on the findings and he agreed. To which I had to give the Roberto Duran "no mas." Since I already sunk nearly 4k in her just this last year and know of an additional 3k that needs to be done on her, SHE IS NOW GONE. I have traded her in on a um... throat clear...... gasp... japanese car (Infinity G35 sport coupe w/6 speed) to become my daily driver. I know, I know, Rice rice baby, sellout etc. But I just cannot afford to keep the 911 as a daily driver nor can I afford the '97 993 c4s that I definately want next, so I am opting for this as a temporary solution that the wife can take over next year when her lease is up (she really liked the G35). I will begin my search around October for the C4s that I NEED and hopefully will find.

In the meantime, THANK YOU TO EVERYONE in this community for all your suggestions, commentary and the like. This BB is probably the greatest place I have ever ventured on the internet. Our sponsor's parts were always as promised and always timely delivered. I will miss not owning my 911 for a year but I cannot wait to come back with the C4S. Pelican and this BB are a credit to p-cars and why the p-car community is second to none. Thank you everyone for all of your intellectual commentary (yes, that means you too LorenB) and much needed advice.

Again, thank you and hope to chat soon (I will lurk OT in the meantime) !

What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul!
