Winter project coming down to the wire

Am I on crack thinking that I can get this all done????


Project list: March 31st deadline…

Engine:
Clean engine parts for reassembly
Clean fan shroud & wiring
Clean headers
Reassemble engine & install

Front End:
Paint cooler panel
Install front bumper
Check passenger turn light bulb
Test fit spoiler & fabricate install brackets
Fabricate cooler brackets
Fabricate brake cooling hose mounts for spoiler
Paint spoiler

Transmission:
Tear down and inspect (5th to 4th downshift)
Replace 5th gear with stock ratio
Install Wevo gate kit
Change shifter springs back to original

Front Suspension:
Remove & inspect bump stops
Replace bump stops if needed & modify
Clean inserts
Clean strut covers
Replace brake line & bleed system

Rear Suspension:
Clean shock covers
Replace & modify bump stops
Replace CV gaskets
Repack CV’s and replace boots (time & $ allowing)

Rear End:
Inspect & replace license lights
Assemble bumper

Final:
Ride height
Corner balance & alignment

Thank god she knows that I am in over my head and tells me to go out and work on it.

I just finished this up last night. (one more coat of paint tonight)

I can't take credit for the panel though, that is a TRE piece. I just did the painful part..... cutting my car and welding it in. By the way, the horrible looking welds on the side and where the AC blower used to be is seam sealer, not the welds......

But with two drivers (me & the wife) it needed additional oil cooling ability.

Doesn't Dr. Pate (SCWDP) live in Montana? I'm sure he'd welcome a guest who needed a long winter to finish a project.

As to your deadline, I think it's perfectly reasonable, assuming you mean March 31st of '05. Now, if you could persuade your wife to /work/ on the car, instead of just allowing you to do so ...
