Buy a new one. You never know what you might find when you get yours apart- if the metal is pitted then you're out the cost of a rebuild kit + you'll need to spring for a new MC anyway.

Purchase a new one, period. You will also get a fresh set of OEM brake light switches (this is the SC, right?).
I just did this. Check out Lonewolf in the Classifieds: he is selling a new MC for a good price. Be sure to get a fresh set of rubber lines for the resevoir to MC connections, the old ones will be corroded. Check out this thread: Master Cylinder install: supplement to Bob's notes. John

new one dude. the project is messy and timeconsuming enough, you dont want the extra hassle. from my experience, i would rebuild the pedal cluster and change the clutch cable at the same time. trust me. cheap and worth the tiny extra bit of effort.

Go new. After messing with a rebuild kit for a day I bought new.
