Very nice Ben!

How did you manage to get in there?!

Cheers,

Tim.

I offered them a suitable donation :-)

Got an invitation to come back when they move their Concorde outside in April/May/June (they don't know when yet) - want to join me for another photoshoot then?

Thanks :-)

UK Tim, my plan is to get together a small group - get some cool pics and raise a bit of dosh for Concorde's upkeep at the same time. Will let you know once it's organised, though as it will be weather-dependent we may end up rescheduling at short notice.

Ben, thanks for the pics. I have been fighting with the idea of painting my bar. I still have no idea what I will do but, this something to look at. With your car it is really right.

That is cool! A trip down the runway would be pretty special too.

It's a live airfield, so the drive down the runway could be interesting - see the Caption Competition thread. :-)

That is so cool that they let you in there. I think you should have someone take video of you racing one of the planes as it takes off...just kidding.

Thanks, Art.

Sarah, there was an F1 car vs fighter jet contest, in Italy from memory. The F1 car won round 1 (300m). The jet won round 2 (600m). At 900m, the F1 car didn't stand a chance. :-)
