Starting problem

My SC has a strange starting problem. This usually occurs when the car or the air is warm. Actually the hotter the temp the more difficult it seems but I am not sure if this is a red herring.

First start is ok this only occurs after a drive.
Turn the key and the car either starts to idle very roughly as though it is on 3 cylinders. The motor dies.

Immediate remedy
Turn the key and allow the fuel line to bleed a little and the car is ok. this is done by lightly touching the accelerator pedal to allow it to not die. The car soon responded firing on all cylinders.

The injectors were relplaced 3 years ago and the car has probably done 5,000 miles since.

If it were me I would buy a set of pressure gauges so I could tell what is going on

SOunds like typical warm start issues. Check your fuel accumulator, or fuel pump check valve. If it starts in the morning and runs fine, I would definetly check those items. Also, again just to shore up the previous response...unless you have a set of pressure gauges ($60 from JC Whitney), you'll never be able to diagnose a problem. Really, even if you just started throwing new parts at it, they may not solve your problems (speaking of the WUR...may need to be adjusted out of the box).
