polished...without a doubt in this case. i like black, but in this case it's just too much. plus, you have chrome trim...if you were going for a total 'blackout look' with all black trim, that would be one thing...chrome trim, i think you gotta go with polished wheels!

Black makes it look bada$$, polished makes it look "fancy." So, Chili, is it a bada$$ car or a fancy car?

I personally think it looks bada$$. Makes me want to get my fuchs re-blacked on my black targa.

I agree with bigchillcar - the chrome trim calls for polished petals. I like the black only with black window trim.

I like the black, it just looks right. How about refinishing the polished wheels in the early anodized/painted style? I've always liked that look.

It is interesting how every P-car has its own personality. Your car screems BLACK! Although I am a polished fan, I must respect your car's needs/wants.

I am usually a fan of either polished or the traditional anodized look.

However, I think your car looks more purposeful and mean with the black fuchs.

It may be that the blacked out fuchs appear to have lower profile tires on though in the rear anyway.

It also might be that from the perspectives the car looks lower in the top picture.

Hard choice but of the two pictures I really like the top better.

Polished looks much better to my eyes Timeless and classy. Black look good but it's a bit too much black as others have said.

Black usually makes a 911 look dull. (though there are exceptions)

Go with the polished.

what is the score so far?

Normally I'd vote polished, but the black with the color of your car looks great.

Black looks newer somehow, polished looks more classic. I wouldn't have guessed that, but that's my opinion.

I like the polished more. It brings out the chrome trim alot more then the black.

Good eye. The top picture is with my 9's in the rear. The bottom picture is with my new 8's in the rear. The tires are the same (245 45 X 16 Bridgestone RE750). The difference you are seeing is the tire less "stretched" so the sidewall stands up a little more. That's why I made the switch. I wanted the rear tires appear to be the same heigth as the fronts. Picky SOB, I am.
