Deteriorating Brake Pad -- leaking piston?

Hey gang -

Little help needed here... Noticed some recent brake squeaking so pulled all four wheels and examined pads. Everything looks good, except the front left (inside) pad looks as though it is badly deteriorating.... leaking piston on that side? Will break fluid eat pads like that? Haven't noticed any brake pedal performance loss.

I have a '72 T with front aluminum (S?) calipers.

Thanks! Awaiting your response!

Jeff

pad is soft and gooey and appears to have some moisture --probably fluid. again, no visible dripping leaks. other pads seem fine.
