I am reading this post with alot of interest. Have any of you running the 964 rear wing noticed less lift at higher speed?

There was a lid on the board that had an engine fire under it that damaged the wiring only if I remember right. The actual spoiler and electricals show up for sale regularly as many people remove them to change to a fixed wing. It was $200.00, a bargain! Expect to pay around $400.00 to $600.00 for a decent one. Do a search...

You just need to remember if you go with this lid/spoiler you need to find a new home for your rear A/C condenser..no A/C, no problem.

Was very close to doing this mod on my car. I'm trying the tailess look for the summer. The only thing that stoped me was the weight of a 964 tail. It easily must weigh 4 times the weight of a pre 89 decklid. I like the look of the upgrade, but just couldn't add that much weight to the backend. I may be selling the compete C2 decklid for someone. (It is mint with all electronics and harness's.) What do these go for?

The 964 deck lid adds a little less than 10 lbs...
Thanks Matt, your hinges are on the way, priority mail. Matt

Sure thing, 150.00 including shipping. Subtract 25.00 if you want to send your own hinges.
Thanks, Matt

Anyone care to guess what the weight difference tween a ducktail and this 964 wing is?
