windshield replacement (again)

I know there's been many a post concerning replacing the windshield seal, but what's the low down on having one of those "travel to your home or work" conpanies doing it for you? I've read that the adhisive needs to be flexible unlike on "modern" cars - is this something these window guys know about? Also, do I buy the seal myself and have them put it in, or let them use theirs?

The carpet finally dried, so now's a good time to replace the door seals, and I know the windshield leaks too.

Thanks.

I recently had my windshield replaced. A local Shop gave me their name.

This company does the "slap and dash" service and when I asked about doing that with my 911 they very firmly (yet politely) informed me that they would not do that with a Porsche Windshield due to the extra care and effort required to ensure a leak-free fit. I told that that was fine and verifed that they were using a OEM Seal. They stated they would and when I dropped the car off, they made a point of showing the parts including the seal in the bag with the Porsche labels.

That was last fall, and, as some of you know, rain is a frequent event here and no leaks as far as I can tell.
