Early Washer Resevoir mounting

In contrast to all of those who are removing there windshield washer tanks to lose weight, I am putting one back into my 72 after the PO removed it. I have everything hooked up and working, but I can't figure out how the resevoir mounts to to the body. Currently it is only held in place by the rubber gasket around the filler neck, but there must be some additional mounting points. Any descriptions or pics would be helpful.

I do not have any pics, but if you look at the bottom of the tank, there is a receptacle for receiving a small metal bracket. This bracket is welded to the suspension pan, but is either lost when the pan is inevitably replaced or it rusts off. I'm going to fabricate a small bracket and just bolt it down to the pan on my car. Then again, how good of a job is the neck doing of holding the tank in? I may just leave it at that...

What he said, it just sits there. The neck is the main deal and then that little retainer/stop that keeps it from sliding towards the gas tank under acceleration. No big deal if the tab isn't there. Put a towel behind it. You need a spare towel in you car anyway.
