Where can I purchase a Yellow 5A fuse?

I purchased a kit for spare trunk fuses for my 88 cab but the red is 16A, the blue is 25A and the white is 8A. I need a yellow rated at 5A. I've looked at various websites with no luck.

Any help appreciated.

You can use an 8 amp temporarily.

Some auto parts stores have them - I think even Wal-Mart even carries an assortment of "german" fuses.. Failing that, I would suggest a Porsche, or VW dealer.

It took me a long time and several auto parts stores to find these but here is the best place I have found with very reasonable prices and excellent services. They will ship to you I believe.

Do not use an 8 amp fuse; an 8 amp fuse doesn't blow until the power has reached 250% more than what a 5 amp fuse will pass! Doing this could melt the circuit and do significant damage to the adjacent wirng in the harness. The yellow 5 amp fuses are PN 90017300690 and are available special order through Pelican for $1.00 each. The 5 amp yellow fuses are becoming difficult to find in auto parts stores. Type in the part number in the "Search Pelican Parts" box. Jim

I was in a local stop-and-rob, just happen to walk by the auto supply section... couple of different types of generic oil, additives, light bulbs, and the usual other crap. I then noticed they had a display of "import fuses" next to the domestic fuses. The packages had 2 of each rating... 0.99 a pack, of course I bought all of the packs they had. I now have a lifetime supply of all the fuses I would ever need. Could not believe it. I find myself looking at the "auto supply section" in all of these corner stores when I am in them now to see if they might have any other goodies.
