White gauges faces plates – any one has any experience

I am looking to install a set in my 88 911.
I am looking either for white or SS with blue glowing.
Any help is appreciated.

Thank You,

Andy

What's the question?

Where to get them or how to do it?

Persoanlly "I" think it's worth it to have them done professionally...the bezel is a realb!tch to get off or replace without chingering it up and having it look like crap....

Palo Alto or No Hollywood Speedometer do great work. Get a bid from both and work them....they will drop the initial quote in most cases.

I had the white faces with the blue LED lights done by Hollywood Speedometer. It's awesome, and they are bright. Some people don't like the look but it's your car.

If your handy it's still a three wrench job. You need to VERY carefully pry up the bezel rings from the backside of the gauges. You need a very small jewlers screwdriver or something like it. Once the bezels are off, the temp, gas, and clock are fairly straight forward. The speedo, and tach are tricky to get the indicator off without bending the little stud they ride on. Particularly, the tach. Make sure you mark both well to avoid recalibration. Put the bezels back on and use a stought straight edge to recrimp the bezels.

Of course, before all of this, you should have removed the gauges and marked very well the wiring configuration.

Takes a few hours to do right, but worth it.
