Question N. CA Fuch polishing?

So is Al Reed in SoCal and Rite Way in Walnut Creek still the best place to get my Fuchs polished and painted?
Do they mount and balance tires as well?
Al Reed is about $50/wheel last I saw. Anyone know about Rite Way, which would be more convenient for me.
How long does it take?

OK that's all for now.

Thakns

I along with many others here got superb work from Al and Diane Reed. Great service from great people. I got my wheels turned around in about a week.

I think unfixed is talking about Harvey and Sue Weidman - at Weidman's Wheels in Oroville, California. A lot of people recommend them on this board as well.

true, unfixed. I spoke with Harvey, and he sounded super cool. He said he makes a "Bay Area run" every so often, and he would actually bring the loaners to my home, help me mount them and reverse the process when he was done with my wheels. I was stunned. There is an example of his work online. Just search his name. Quality work, I'm very close to getting mine done, and I'll probably call him.

EDIT: Here's the link

Harvey Weidman

Recommend you go with Harvey - he did an excellent refurbishment job on a set of 7's and 9's for me; came out loking new and very period correct. I dropped them off in Mtn View at a Porsche garage and he delivered them to my house in San Jose! Don't be in a hurry - a great job takes some time.

How much does Harvey charge? Does Al Reed really only charges $50/wheel?

Harvey quoted me between $800 - $900 for polished paddles with black background, polished and hand painted centercaps, and polished lugs. I haven't done it yet, so I'll have to see if it's worth it.

Nice looking wheels Bob. Cheap too! Sounds like Rite Way may be the right way to go for me (corny, I know).
