What's wrong with this 993? (ebay)

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=10156&item=2465109127&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT

Looks good, low miles, 0 bids, anyone know about this car?

Thanks.

Simple, starting price is WAY to high with a reserve. Obviously, an Ebay rookie.

Ya agreed....all of the above. He has never sold anything, not even a pencil on Ebay and coming out the gates with 37K is not too attractive. He could have started at 2,000 and set a hidden reserve and I think you would have seen more hits. The description of the car tells me nothing. To sell something at that price, I would have written a novel. I want all my questions answered. It is to vague for most.

Also, you can't do a real PPI from cross-country and a 993 problem wouldn't be cheap!

I'll keep on looking... thanks everyone. Ideally I'd like one from a Pelicanite (sp?) or at least from an enthusiast that knows enough to post it in Panorama, but I'm also thinking that among all the crooks, once in a while some hapless private individual decides to sell their unmolested example as well. I'd like to avoid dealers, but with good feedback are they worth looking into?

Dave, what are you looking for? I have a lead on a super clean polar silver '95 C2. PM me if interested.

I have enough color to last me for three cars. This one has to be black and two wheel drive. Thanks for the heads up, though.

I don't know about anyone else, but I never bid on anything if the seller has a "zero" feedback rating, let alone for a very expensive item!
