Electromotive settings
First thing mine is labeled Dulles Intl. Motorsport LTD, but it looks identical to the pics of the electromotive. I have read through some of the old posts on settings and have some questions about mine.
initial 18 3000 25 8000 -4 rev 7000 Im having a hard time starting. Once started it runs good and hot starting is no problem. On some of the old posts it seems most had the initial set around 10. Would this help my cold starting? I have a 2.4S with webers and 2.2S P/C. This is new to me and I don't want to just start turning nobs just yet. Also I have some magnecors ordered and W5DC plugs. The car runs well now just a bear to start cold.

I turned down the "initial" setting to 10 and that helped my cold starts. Still takes cranking when it is really cold. Also have to give it some throttle to get some fuel in there. Hard cold starting is the only thing I don't like about my set up. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. In terms of 3000 and 8000 settings see the old posts on the subject....I still have a brief flat spot at 2800 rpms, though perhaps that is related to tuning the carbs??? I'm running the electromotive system and 40mm PMOs on a 3.0.
At some point I want to pull the plugs and open the gap on each plug a bit more.
