Pompatible ignition wires
I have a 79 911SC. I just bought some ignition wires and am not sure they are compatible. I bought a set called Fyrebraid. When I got them I saw that they do not have the external braided wiring that the stock wires have. Can I still use these wires? Does anyone have experience with these wires or should I stick with the original steel braided wires?

You don't need the external wire braiding. Those should work just fine.

Pompatible? I thought maybe you had some wires that were stuck up or had an attitude, i.e. pompus. But I see you meant compatible. Sorry, just had to chuckle some, mostly at myself.
But to answer your question, as Kurt points out, wires without the braiding will work just fine.
