Lightbulb 3.2 Engine bay pics?

Please post the pictures of your engine bay. I just got my car and want to know what a clean engine should look like.

I just finished my engine rebuild so I love showing it off. I removed the engine blower.

Your engine should look like this. If it doesn't, all you need to do is write a few very large checks and your problem will be solved...

OK...just being a smart-ass. Here's the "before" picture...

You'll notice everybody so far (and many to follow), has removed the A/C. Doing so goes a long way toward cleaning up the engine bay, makes wrenching on the car considerably easier, dumps ~80lbs. of weight, and doesn't make much difference in comfort (for a fun car, not a daily driver) since the A/C usually performs poorly anyway.

KurtV, did you fab something for your heat duct or adapt an existing part? And how does the output compare to the big ugly fan?

Jim I backdated the heat using pre 74 engine tin and fan shroud tin. The fan shroud on the driver's side needed just a bit of massaging to clear the distributor. I am now running SSI's and drove it to work this morning. Outside temp was only 35 degrees, but no complaints on the heat, and I HAVE to be warm when it is cold! I kept the footwell blowers in case I need more heat at idle, but so far haven't needed to use them.

After seeing everyone's fans, I'm starting to think mine looks pretty darn ugly !

I put on new Bilstein Sports on my 78 3.2 this weekend and reaching the passanger side rear shock was a PITA with the stock filter assembly and A/C!

Hmmm, I recently missed out on two `85 Turbo-looks. One was actually bought out from under me (was assured first right of refusal), but I am sure the buyer had no idea. Is the one you just bought by chance triple black with tinted windows, or Meteor gray with burgundy interior? No biggy if so, just curious.
