I need a car trip from VA to MA! Help!

Ok, I just got a 924 on Ebay for the ElectricPorsche.com project.

Only problem - it's got a dead engine, and it's in Virginia. I'm in Mass!

I need a way to get it here!

I know I can use DAS and stuff, but on the off chance someone is driving this route or runs an autoshipping firm, how much would it be for you to ship this?

Email me at Contact@ElectricPorsche.com

Thanks,
-Jeff

Look in Panorama or Excellence there are a few shippers listed.

Shippers like to pick up and drop at large cities so if you can coordinate that and be very flexible they may cut you a break.

When I bought my car I looked into shipping from Wilmington North Carolina to Bridgeport, CT. I spoke with Thomas Sunday, Intercity, and one or two others. I let them pick up and drop whenver they wanted to and I think I may have even agreed to meet them in Hartford or in some cases at their home base to save cost. Most of the quotes came in around $500-$600.

Since mine had a running engine I chose to fly down and drive it back.

You may even be able to pursuade a race team with a transporter to pick it up. They could always use the extra $500 or so.

Good luck.

I can tell you that they will cahrge more for a car that doesn't run than for one that does. Best of luck!

Yea, DAS autoshippers gave me ab instant quote of 545 to my door as a non-operable, so I figure that's not TOO bad, but there must be someone out there who's coming this way anyways - I mean c'mon, anyone with an autocarrior should check out sunny MA!

It cost me 580.00 from New York to South Carolina Last September. One of the first questions was, Does it run? Company was BT Express no affiliation but they delivered my P-car intact.
