Make them what ever color you are satisfied with, it is your car. So, whatever melts your butter.

Well, look at it this way....You can always go back to black if you don't like red. It's not like a color change to the body.

Just for the record - I did a track event (short track very technical) - people were having brake issues everywhere - mine where hot hot hot - yet no issues even with the bling bling finish... do what you want...

I used one of the epoxy paint kits that Performance and Pelican sells....The finish is still good 18 months later. Looks like new. Total cost about 40 bucks and 2 hours time. I did them on the car.

See some pics:My car from another thread

Your ride looks nice Tiger, I love everything you have done, except for one thing, the white face gauges. Those just look to Jap to me and I think you were going for the Euro look with the amber lenses. Just my .02 Otherwise it's the same as I would have done.

Did you remove the AC for weight reduction too?

Thanks for the compliment. If I had it to do again I would not have done the white guages. I recently replaced the amber cornering lights with all clear lenses and that looks pretty cool. I'll post some pics of that.

The A/C is still intact. but probably not for long as it needs charged anyway. I'd rather just rip it out.

Tiger - I too am thinking of going white lenses - But the other part of me says just keep the car in it's original form with US spec colors.

I guess I wil wait to see your when it's done since I have yet to see a Carrera with whites.

Good luck on all your mods. So much fun aint t?
