Finally got a chance to install the cat by-pass pipe and Bursch muffler. It has a much deeper sound than stock, which I really like. Everything fit well, and everything looks pretty good!

Which Bursch muffler did you use? I have a cat-bypass with a stock muffler, and was thinking of changing the muffler too. Does it resonate inside the car loudly? (this would be a minus for me). Thanks.

How's the "seat of the pants" performance gain, is it something you can feel? This going to be my next mod and was wondering if it's worth putting in the sport muffler, sound inside car is a consideration also.

Not sure what model muffler, I bought it off this site, single in/out with a chrome tip. I do get a little "hollow" sound at around 50mph in 4th gear, not very bad. But I could see how some people may be turned off by it. I think it was just too quiet before. As far as performance, it's hard to say. It feels like I picked up a little mid-range. I really like the sound under acceleration. Much better than stock, in my opinion. Cost was a consideration, so this was the best way to go for me.
