Any one know the GPH ratings on early fuel pumps?
Wondering what the GPH ratings are on early fuel delivery systems for carbs and MFI?
Thanks

Well it's usually PSI and carbs run fine at 5 psi....dunno about MFI.
The carbs fuel pumps usually have a regulator between the pump and carbs.

The very scientific method I have always used to test fuel pumps on carbureted engine, is to take the hose off the carb and put it in a pop bottle. Remove the coil wire and have someone run the starter. The pop bottle should be full in roughly 20 seconds. I'm sure that's how they do it at NASA too.

Yes, I'm aware of psi, and have a regulator on my car. However, what i'm wondering is whether the pumps themselves have a gallons per hour output rating.
