Noon, Saturday.

Yep, I just got off the phone with the transporter. They have a Boxster to deliver just down the street and then me should be here by noon. I'll be posting pics after the drop off! I feel like I'm goin' into labor or something

I don't know the Boxter guy but I have his number. I'll call him and hopefully watch his unload and meet another Porsche guy.

Yeah, so you're not going to be sleeping tonight. Lots of silver 911s popping up here recently, not that it's a bad thing, we need something to offset all that guards red. Congrats, post some pics of that bad boy when you get it.

Well, I was hoping to get home early tonight and do some work in the car's bedroo... I mean, garage. heh heh. But I'm still at work and won't get home till 10:30 or later.

I doubt I'll get much sleep anyway so I guess I'll burning the oil. I really need to get a garden shed for all the yard crap. Y'know, my plan was to get my garage and shed situation squared away PRIOR to my next 911. Parking the cars would not be an issue but I had to go out and stumble onto this car. sheesh

Don,

I bought a Rubbermaid shed from our local Sam's Club for $300 last summer and moved all the bikes, kid's toys and garden stuff into it. Now my 1 1/2 car garage is dedicated to the car and I feel much better. The kids don't go in and out of the garage and I don't worry about the inevitable "bike scratch". I don't know how the shed would handle Arizona weather, but it's fine in Michigan and is water tight.

Dudes!! You're not going to believe it. When the truck showed up, he had to take off 4 cars to get mine out. It was in the front. Anyway, the 4 that came off were a 51 Mercury, 74 Beetle, a 67 Sting Ray and, get this, a 2001 Lamborghini Diablo!!

More later and Yes Zeke, I'm too busy playing with the car. I will start another thread later and tell you guys all the details.

This was my driveway yesterday.

God bless America. A chicken in every pot, and a 911 and a Lambo in every driveway.

2001 Lamborghini Diablo!! Oh yeah, I got to drive it! That thing can sure haul the mail.
Ok, please explain. Is it S.O.P. for a shipper to give near strangers the keys to other people's cars? Not that there is something clearly wrong about that.

btw, nice car. It makes that Diablo look obscene.
