How to punch RW hub out of free swing-axle?
In the middle of fitting new rear bearings, we are having problems fixating rear SC swing-axle so we can punch the hub out. Hub has been stuck there for over 25 years and won't budge. Is there any secret position for fixating whole swing-axle? It's stuck pretty bad so we need to punch it hard and "ear" near caliper fixture feels weak.

you can try using two long pry bars, one on each side of the flange, with the tips against thje bearing retainer bolt heads. i'm talking two 2ft long screwdriver looking things. i do them on the car, and they usually come out after a few good pulls. i've done them in a vise too, but it's hard to get a grip on the tapered arm. there is no puller made that fits under the flange without bending the crap out of the e/brake stuff.

I borrowed a slide hammer with hub adapter from Autozone, It bolts onto three studs of the hub. I put one foot on the arm to hold it down an whacked the slide hammer 5-10 times. They popped out pretty cleanly.
