Question for Atlanta people...

I've torn down my engine, and it's time to find a machine shop. A friend recommeded Eagle Machine, in Auburn, just North of Atlanta. Does anyone have experience with them? Does anyone have a shop they reccomend?

Thanks

Hi Lee. Glad to see you are on the ground here. I am close by. When you start reassembly let us know I would like to come by and help and learn. Might even have some tools you can avoid buying.

The wrench in Snellville I mentioned to you a while back only has one machine shop he trusts here. You might call him or Franz Blam in Tucker -770-939-6100. Also call Jack Lewis and Performance and see who they use, not sure if they will tell you?? Sunbelt has a good rep on cars other than Porsche I "hear". I am sure they can do it.

watch & learn

Me too,
I'm real good at watching other people work.
Just ask my co-workers.
And I live close by.

the chaps up in auburn did a bangup job on my buddy's M5 head. (full rebuild on exhaust valve side)

There were several twin plug heads he'd built...they looked really good.

they're a good bunch up there.

I appreciate hearing Atlanta folks, and y'all are welcome over and help reassemble, especially when I put it back in the car. I just hope I don't foul up tremendously in front of anyone...I'm pretty new to this.

I'm pretty excited about this, and if it ever runs again, I'd really like to get involved in the PCA, and other Porsche activities here.

Thanks again.
