				Interior trim replacement

Hi. Opinions please.... I have a 1974 Carrera that has spent its life in harsh Australian and NZ sun which has bleached the interior trim. Have decided to replace interior trim and restore seats. Should I (can I, even) get the original cloth (e.g. shetland door trim) and restore to original? or Should I not bother, i.e. redecorate with more modern look (very nice local leather) and put in modern seats (e.g. Recaros) Whaddya think, guys! Andrew

hi andrew it comes down to personal choice. i would probably go for the leather - unless the car was exceptionally original/clean. good luck.

Hi Rich That's the nub of the problem. Car is clean and very original. Apart from trim fade IMHO it is pretty good!! Leather may be the route forward though TX for your input Andrew
