Hey guys, Ray Barnett here. It took yrs of arguing with the wife and a lot of trash talking from certain family members but the day has finally arrived!! I've purchased my first Pcar. I've had her about a month and still have the original grin from the day I picked her up. When shopping my goal was Red/Black, good paint, 84-87, (I wanted the 3.2 for reliability) less than 80K mi, no rust and clean PPI. She's an 84 rust free with 78K mi and no PPI red flags. Paint is almost flawless!. I paid 18,200$ which was probably a bit much but oh well I love this freakin car. Within the first week I checked her in to Eurosport of Virginia Beach for: Swepco 201 gear lube, Castrol 20/50, Bridgestone Potenza's x4, throttle link adjust, and two sunroof cables. My wish list is long and expensive. I plan on giving the interior/exterior and engine equal attention. Holding onto my wife's hand while she was giving berth by c-section the other day, I decided on the Momo Competition wheel as opposed to the 930S. Picture this, Wife's second day in the hospital (baby is fine) I break for home to shower and make sure Grandma isn't burning the house down. Back at the hospital later that evening I was questioned why it took me so long. Among my reasons I just couldn't tell her I had to get my Pcar to the shop before they closed to get the sunroof fixed. Soooo, I'm standing in the parking lot of the shop(cause they want to keep the car a day) with wife in hospital 24hrs after c-section, worrying that Grandma is feeding my 4yr old slimy ham that I forgot to toss out. But damn I needed that sunroof fixed. It was buggin the crap out of me. "To the hospital Cabby, quickly" Lookin for a Pcar nieghbor I can have my parts sent to?? Fellow Pelicanites feel free to SLAM/COMPLIMENT my ride. I cannot however be talked into any iniations(NOVA). No one's comin over to "help" me drop my motor then leave me standing there drunk with no skills and a crescent wrench. One in ten can figure out my plates.

Nice car, the rocket? That grin does not wear off for some time. Now you have to learn to wrench it yourself, so you have an excuse to buy a bunch of cool tools and upgrades to err save money honey.

Sounds like you're off to a familiar start. Glad to see a man who actually wears pants in his house.

Great car! Congrats on your new arrivals.

Yep, H4s would really look good. It's kind of funny, when I got my car I told my wife that "this car needs nothing" but the UPS guy shows up at my office at least once a week with presents for my mistress.

Good Luck and Enjoy that car.

I see that my brother has finally come out of the closet and introduced himself. It's not a 993, but I guess it'll have to do for the time being

He forgot to include pics of himself, so thought I'd take the liberty here:

Top 5 questions my brother has been bugging me with the past month:

1. Where do I add the coolant?
2. How come girls are always flashing their tit$ at me?
3. How come my wife won't let me in the house anymore?
4. How come it sounds like my '67 bug?
5. What does H4 mean?

Just got your first P-car and are already this far gone? Oh man, you've got potential.

Red...yeah baby! Congrate on car and baby. So, how many times have you gone out to the garage and just looked at it...... it's a good thing

When your wife wants a third baby, say sure honey, as long as I can get another car.....for the track

Congrats I bought my first 911 less than a month after my son was born. I second the tip on buying tools.

Welcome to the DC/VA/MD crew! Don't worry we won't drop your engine, at least not yet!! George screen name (GB83SC) has got the same setup as you except his is a little better since it's a SC , but then again I'm bias. Contrary to popular belief, the NoVA people are friendly enough to get you drunk and help you put it back in, they won't leave you hanging! Sweet looking ride.

How many people have asked you about the "midlife crisis", so far?

I notice there is not much talk about the "other" baby....you know the one in the hospital...the tax deduction????
