One Lap
 

Fellow Pelicanites,

I'm doing the One Lap of America this year (April 30 - May 8) and would very much like to borrow videos or cds of any of the following tracks:

Heartland Park
Pike's Peak
Pueblo
Infineon (Sears Point)
Las Vegas Motor Speedway - 2.5 mile ALMS roadcourse
Hallett Racing Circuit
Road America

I'll happily pay for postage both ways and will assure that tapes or cds will be returned in good condition.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions and tips from anyone with familiarity with these venues and the surrounding area.

Is the one lap coming to Pueblo Colorado? If so do you know the scheduled date? One of our local club racers has some Pueblo & Hallet videos posted on his site. Email me and I will direct you to it.

I'd be happy to help out with Road America. I've got a number of sessions in my '82SC from last year's Labor Day Chicago PCA event. I copied them from my digital camcorder to VHS. I should be a snap to copy that tape to another. For the cost and hassle, I would not worry about returning it. If you are interested send me a PM.

On another topic, I see you have a C2S. What year and what color? I have a 1997 C2S in Rivera Blue which I've named "the Blue Max". It really is a beast compared to the SC. I have not tracked in yet and probably will not. The '82 is set up for the track and the S is something I could walk away from.

The One Lap around America sounds like a great event. I'm looking forward to adding Mid-Ohio to my list of tracks in early May.

Ask Brock Yates why no Watkins Glen. Actually, they did the Glen and the Rock and Summit Point last year. Timing is everything, eh? I know those tracks pretty well.

Go to http://www.hallettracing.com/ and click on track maps. They have video of both clockwise and counter clockwise. We will be doing both.
