Death of Stan

I heard last night that Stan of Strasse Automotive Inc in Costa Mesa died suddenly last week.

Does anyone know out there know the details?

Stan was a well-known local mechanic in the Newport-Mesa area that cared for many of the local 911's.

That is horrible news! Stan was a friend of mine for many years. I was just talking to him last month about when he thought he was going to retire. He said "Oh, I've thought about it, but then what would I do, just sit around the house?"

Stan had run Strasse at that location for over 30 years and was very well known (although being a very low-key kind of guy).

One of the genuine "good guys," and I'm really sad to hear that news.
