Oil Pressure Guage
Went for a ride this morning. At one point I noticed the oil pressure guage was showing 4.8 @ 3400 RPMs. Slowed and the oil pressure shows .5 to .8 above where it would be considered normal at all RPMs. No other issues. My first guess is the sending unit. Any history of this with anyone? Any thoughts?

My first guess is the oil is cold. What oil viscosity is installed and what was the oil temperature?

Oil was at 180 car had been running for an hour and a half at 70 degrees outside. 20-50 oil same as I always run.

Then clean and tighten connection at oil pressure sender.
