Setting the pre-load on a Brey Krause tower brace
 
Just received my strut tower brace from Brey Krause. Followed the directions (pretty straight forward) and set the pre-load by taking up the slack and turning the bar 1/2 turn....was this correct?

sounds like it's pretty snug to me.
maybe a drop of red paint or nail polish at the joint to tell if it ever gets loose.. it'll also look like you know what your doing.

which way did you turn it . . . pushing the towers out or pulling them together??

I turned the bar 1/2 turn - pulling them together.

Adding the red paint....thanks,,,,
