Car Cover
I just bought a very light and thin car cover to basically keep pollen and dust off the car. They have numerous warnings on the box, in the box and on the carry bag stating that it should not be used on a repainted vehicle. Why would this be? I can not for the life of my understand why a cover so thing could be damaging to a repaint....Any ideas?

Perhaps a repainted car is more susceptible to damage from a car cover?

You need to wait for about a month or so before you cover a repainted car. There may be a few volatiles that need to escape from the paint. If they try to escape and can't , you have a solvent that can make the paint "sticky" or slightly wet and possibly stick the cover to your car.
