How to align H4's
I read a procedure on aligning H4's that instructed me to park 10 meters (~32') away from a wall/garage door, and adjust the lights so that the light cut off is 2 meters (~6.5') high. I followed this procedure and my lights are pointing in the trees! I thought it seemed ridiculously high when I was aiming them. Can someone give me the proper procedure for aiming H4's? These are Euro H4's.

With the car 25' from wall. With the low beams on, the horizontal should be 2" lower than the center of the headlite. That should get you close.

Casey,
Here's a link that pwd72s stole from rennlist. It has some good info on headlight alignment. Good luck. http://www.autooptiks.com/aiming.html |

Thanks! That makes much more sense, and now my new 80/100 watt bulbs light up the road instead of houses and trees.
