930 G50 and torsion bars?
To add a G50 to a 3.2 which wasn't supposed to have it, you have to deal with the length of the housing, torsions are in the way etc etc.
Does that mean that a G50 930 had coilovers instead of torsions? '87 and '88 3.2's didn't... |

Wouldn't they just use the same style of torsion bar as the late 3.2L cars??

They 89 930's with the G50 had torsion bars, but I think the lengths were different.

Actuaslly the 89 930 used a special variant of the G50 transmission - the G50-50. I believe this has a shorter bell housing to fit into the torsion bar suspension. For people with earlier 930s (say 86-88) that want to go a G50 retrofit, they must either use a G50-50 or have a regular G50 transmission shortened.
