Why are the PO's usually stupid?? (dont ever wanna be one)

Couple days ago I started fitting my doors and front fenders back on the car...well...

After couple hours of battling, twisting and cursing I noticed (after i scratched the door) that the door had been fixed earlier...well, took my sander and what I found was 5-10mm thick putty! Unbelievable...and the door gap, well..check this image, no wonder I could not fit it properly..

This is not the first time I have found something stupid that PO had done...hopefully the last.

The PO of my car plugged the oil pressure switch with a regular bolt, no wonder the pressure warning light was going on. He also at some time had the a/c removed, but he left all the lines running the length of the car and just left them hanging in the engine compartment with bolts stuck in the end. And dont' get me started about the red over silver respray...

Looks like the PO didn't know how to adjust the door so they just filled the edge in to make it look better. Now that you are tring to make it right, the mistakes from the past are rearing their ugly head. Get back to us if you need help. What a debacle!

wow that's really impressive.

My PPO (the PO was mechanicly inept and didn't do any wrenching at all) put an SC exhaust on my 73. It crushed the oil feed line and rubbed my clutched cable into a D shape.

My PO decided that, since he was selling the car anyway, why bother going through emissions testing and spending all that money on license tabs when he could just put the IH dump truck tabs on there…dumb ass.
