Polished Wheels and Fan - 2 days
Finally tackled the task. Suprisingly enough, the task was not that hard. I used a quality metal polish and elbow grease

Great job--which metal polish did you use and did you use a polisher? Sandpaper?

On the wheels and fan I used GHE Simichrome polishing paste (made in Germany) imported by Competition Chemicals, inc. Picked up a tube at the Hershey swap meet last year.
The fan needed to be cleaned properly, then using my dremel tool with the stainless wire brush attachment (use on pewter, aluminum, stainless steel etc.) to remove those brown stains. Then I polished with GHE. I applied the polish by hand and removed the polish by hand, and buffed with the dremel polishing attachment. It took several applications to bring out the shine. I'm looking like "popeye"

That looks sweet... any chance we can get a bigger picture of the fan?
