How much time to swap TB & SB?

Wondering how much time I should set aside to swap out the torsion bars and sway bars, not doing any bushings as they are good. I know this can vary but I have a confined window of opportunity, only have a weekend( wife going out of town so I can work into the wee hours). I am installing 22/30 Torsion Bars and puttting on 22mm sway bars, dropping the car a bit past Euro height, only question left is how low can I go and still get into my driveway.

Thanx

Thom

Assuming the bars come out without too much of a fight you are looking at 6-8 hour job assuming you take breaks.

I did mine last year. Kurt sounds right on the money.

Have they ever been replaced before? Replacing stock torsion bars on a 23 year old car may take awhile as things don't come apart too easily sometimes. The first time I replaced my rear bars, it took me probably two or three weeks of sporadic after work and weekends to get them replaced. The second time I did it after work one day.

Also depends on whether you get the TBs indexed correctly the first time. If you don't, you'll be taking it all apart to do over again. And if your like me, on the rears, the third time is a charm!
