control arm upgrade
I am looking to add the rear sway bar to my car (already purchased a used bar off a 73 S, new busings and the mounting brackets) but my arms don't have the ballpin socket. So, I eaither have to buy these and wels them on or upgrade to aluminum arms with the ballpins.
Two questions: 1. Do all later model control arms work with early models (specifically my 72T) insofar as they have the ballpin socket to accept the rear sway bar drop link? Are the part numbers 911.331513 and 911.331514 correct 2. Where exactly do I weld the swar bar mounting brackets to the body? Thanks, Jim Chatfield |

This one shows the new style bracket welded in. Once you scape off the iundercoating you'll see exactly the shape where the rear member is flat and mates with the sway bar mount.
I added some weight - rear sway bar installed
