Heat exchangers on a 2.8/twin plug setup

Right now I have headers on this car and I would like to put heat exchangers on and not give up to much on performance. So what would be a good solution.P.S. Just found this site and it is great

Welcome aboard! You realize that it is customary for new guys to provide mucho pics, especially if they have a 2.8 twin plug beast:)

I would use good old SSI's

I guess it depends upon how efficient you want the headers. I like my '74s, but supposedly SSIs work better because they're true equal length and have more of a custom fit for the size engine you're running - hence there are sizes above and below 3.0.

Headers are good because they're about ten pounds less - no heat shrouds. But you have no heat.

When exhaust starts getting up into the above $2K bracket, I start to think about Maui instead. ;)

Well thanks to all of you for the advise. So I guess the only real option is to fabricate a set of heat exchangers for my headers. Will let you know how it goes.
