Thumbs up 911 history...amazing! Thanks Lynn

Well I am the recipient of another great act of kindness, the pelican family is taking very good care of me and I must say a big thanks to all of you!

I was watching the history of the 911 last night on DVD, and the marketing, racing, safety, efficiency, and style of these cars is simply amazing! I own one (the baby ***** yellow bastard) and never looked at it quite the way I will in the future…this video is an eye opener on how much impact this little sports car has had on the world over the past 40 years!

I also want to thank LynnABC’s for the awesome (custom 911) cap, so even in Iraq I am able to be a little closer to my car.

Thanks

K9handler, I'm not writing this out of the slightest "political" support for your presence over there, but I've noticed you're in that particular sugarhole and want to offer my support in keeping your head cool in all situations, be it for your own good or that of the people with you, around you (and not necessarily those against you)...
I'm sure you've got a good old 911 awaiting your return soon (and, I trust, not only a 911), so ... greetings to you! I'm glad you're getting some help from "your" folks on the site, too.

Thanks Paul...heck maybe late this summer we can meet up for a beer when I get back, I plan on taking some time off and traveling the area...Belgium is just a quick drive from my home.

enough about where I am...what do you all think of the DVD I mention above, as I think it's very professional and is so well thought out that if more non-porsche people would see it then they just might be brain washed into it! Ha Ha

I'm not sure I've seen that movie, But I couldn't agree more on the the History of our Steed's.
Especially their racing history in ALL types of terrain. These little 911's will get you there myfriend, And most likely have already been there.
Their a great sportscar that have an even greater history.

Be safe,

The DVD I sent to K9 was the 911 History DVD from the 2-DVD set that is now for sale on Ebay. I t's a pricey set usually selling for $60 to $70. I don't know if it is a consumer or dealer sales set, but the history disk is very good. I especially like the early 911 8mm movie footage.

I thought since I'm home safe and sound in my warm bed and so is my 27 yr-old son, a little home-grown USA Care package was the least I could do.

Thanks for the public thank-you!
