Ok. I like my car again.

It's days like today that make me want to keep my 911, despite the fact that my car has been the *biggest* pain in the ass since I bought it.

Had a local PCA autocross today, and the thing just felt *killer*. These things loooooooooooove to be raced, huh?

That's all I want to say.

The 911 gets a reprieve this week...

Let me add a quick note to that. I ran in the first heat today and felt my car like I never have felt it before. It was increadible to lightly lift the throttle and let the back of the car just ease around turns and float through slaloms. I agree 100% that these cars just love to get a good workout.
I even got the car a little too unbalanced a time or two but was able to recover and stay on course. Very cool thing.

Oh yeah, emptyo failed to mention that he posted the fastest lap of the day. Beat a GT3 by 2+ seconds and dusted many cars 30 years newer and far more expensive. I'm glad he did too because I kept telling everyone to wait for the third heat and watch the guy with the black 72. I would have looked pretty silly if he would have done poorly (not that I've ever seen that happen)

Jeez Pat....

I had no idea I was under that kind of pressure!

You, by the way, looked fantastic. It's been very cool to watch you learn and progress this year. I think it's time for some wheels/race rubber for you!

Oh...and you just wait...you'll see me do poorly plenty. Yesterday was "one of those" days.

I picked up the wheels (cookies), just need the rubber. The problem with using them for PCA is that It'll move me from Production Class 5 to Improved Class 12. I'm ASP in SCCA now anyway so I can use them there with no change I think.
