brake challenge
This is my first post to the Pelican BB. I have been lurking around reading other people's challenges. I've had my 911 almost two years and its doing well for a 30 year old daily driver.
I've had some brake pull and decided to start with replacing the rubber hoses. Great weekend project. It went well until I got to the bleeding. One of the old bleeder nipples broke off. I drilled it out, but oops... I must have nicked the seat, because it leaks fluid. Anyone know a good fix for this? I hate to spend the $$ on a whole new caliper. ![]()

Not unless you can recut the seat. And might be something a brake rebuilder can do.
BTW, welcome. |

Gary,
Same fix as for nicked/scratched AN fitting ... copper sealing ring! Measure the ID of the bleeder hole, and go to a local Bearing & Seal supply store and tell them what you need. They might have to special order one that small, but tell them you need one 1.0 mm thick.
