Frozen/Seized Front Rotor/Caliper/Brake

I've noticed the last two time that I've left the car parked for a couple of days that the passenger front Brake has 'seized' when I try to back-out of the driveway.

-It does 'break loose' but with a POP.
-If I drive forward first, there does not seem to be a problem.
-So far, if I drive forward first I can then go in reverse without any issues.

Thoughts?

P.S. 84 930 with 928s4 calipers on the front.

Hi

It sounds like the pads are sticking to the rotors - not a problem if the brakes are otherwise fine.

That's what my car was doing. When I got things opened up, I had a piston that was rusted / gunked up in the caliper that wasn't pulling back when you released the brakes. I ended up rebuilding the calipers w/ new pistons and also did stainless lines and replaced the (leaky I found) master cylinder. I'm also switching things over to the ATE blue brake fluid.

You might have a simpler fix but brakes repairs have a way of snowballing.
