I'm getting my wheels refinished at a shop and was thinking about going polished lips and gunmetal centers instead of traditional silver. What do y'all think? Last edited by v9ff; 04-05-2004 at 12:14 PM.. | ||

Go with the gunmetal. I was thinking of doing the same on my red cab. I think that it makes the wheels stand out. Face it, every other new car out there has the same silver colored wheels, be different.

[QUOTE]Originally posted by v9ff [B]It's an animated GIF. That still doesn't tell me much since I'm somewhat digitally-challenged. Oh yeah, and I like the silver. (I think the gunmetal might look better in-person than in the picture though) I just like the original look on original wheels, others have always tried to copy Porsche wheel designs, that's why they look similar. The 'copies' never look as good to me.

An animated GIF (Graphics Interchange Format) file is a graphic image on a Web page that moves - for example, a twirling icon or a banner with a hand that waves or letters that magically get larger. In particular, an animated GIF is a file in the Graphics Interchange Format specified as GIF89a that contains within the single file a set of images that are presented in a specified order. An animated GIF can loop endlessly (and it appears as though your document never finishes arriving) or it can present one or a few sequences and then stop the animation. Animated GIFs are frequently used in Web ad banners.

I like the gunmetal. An just cause,, I think the same color as the body would look good on it too if that were an option.
