Sounds cool to me...why? Because assuming equal skills are traded, and both projects would have been do it yourself anyway, the only real loser is the tax man...What? The Government doesn't take enough money?

Pwd72S thanks for your comments. What has happened to all the Porsche professional these days? This forum sounds like a teen chat room.

fhern, were weren't trying to offend you. We just like to have a little fun while we are here. If it was all technical and PC...we would all get a lot more work done.

Unfixed, what I want done on my 1978 911SC is a new clutch, fix all oil leaks. It seems like the leaks are coming from exchangers, valve covers, and possibly engine seal. I have just put on a urathane paint job (Guards Red) new interior, new inner and outer body seals. I do some mechanic work but don't like getting my hands greasy. . .if you know what I mean. My car has 90,000 miles and runs like a dream.

fhernand, I'm capable of doing the mechanical work you noted, but I'm not a pro, and I don't like working on cars that belong to someone else. So I guess a trade's out.

Having said that, how much would you charge me to put Carrera flares on a '75, and do you have references?
