Did someone mention a PelicanParty at the Ale House during RennSport2?

When? Where? What Day? What Hour? Directrions?

I think it was Curt, That mentioned it. Carl Melecci & I are driving over from Clearwater Fri AM. We would like to Join in for a beer or two, & meet every one. Is anyone else staying at the Ramada Inn Speed way location? That's where Carl & I will be. Craig

Hi Craig,

We are staying at the TravelLodge at the Speedway, which should be just a few doors down.

A beer or so sounds good, and I hope this PelicanParty will be on Friday, since we had planned to go to the PCA Dinner on Saturday evening, and meet the Special Guest. I'm hoping it is Derek Bell or Dan Gurney, both heros of mine for a long time.

I must confess, I have not been practicing my Pelican Salute, but I do practice the double secret hand shake. We have tickets to the Sat. night dinner,also. I wonder who the guest speaker is, & will there be a Carrera GT on display???? I can't hardly wait !! Craig

Carrera GT.. come on... who cares when there going to be 550 Spyders & 911R's and 904's and..well you get the pic.. hahaha hitting the track. The carrera GT has to take the back seat to those cars..

I agree the early Cars, & Drivers, are the main reason for going. I would just like to see what a GT looks like up close. Craig

Friday 5:00 until ????? at the Ale House. There will be people from Pelican, Early S, R Gruppe and probably bums off the street too if they like Porsches ...... -- Curt
