Courtesy light - Mind of it's own
 

My '88 Cab courtesy light (between the sun visors) comes on and goes off randomly. I'd just shut it off and forget about it except that, in addition, the cab roof intermittently mis-latches with just one latch unpowered. And, the red brake light flashes on occasion. Otherwise, I have no problems.
I have this feeling that these minor problems lead back to the Clifford alarm. The problems certainly do not seem Clifford related but the fact that they are so intermittent makes me think that their is some circuitry involved here.
I know I have given minimal information here but I am hopeful someone can steer me toward a solution or at least an approach to identify the problem.

Not much help here by my 88 coupe does the same thing and it ALSO had a Clifford Alarm but I tried to remove it. I thought I got all the parts out but maybe I didn't. I was assuming it was in the door light latch.
